Innovation, long-term impact and solutions for sustainability

Με μεγάλη μας χαρά σας καλωσορίζουμε στο εναρκτήριο Συνέδριο του Cluster e-CODOMH, το οποίο φιλοδοξεί να φέρει σε επαφή βασικούς ενδιαφερόμενους φορείς στον κατασκευαστικό κλάδο.
Στόχος μας είναι να συζητήσουμε τεχνολογικές, βιομηχανικές, περιβαλλοντικές και κοινωνικές προκλήσεις και ευκαιρίες για τον κατασκευαστικό και μεταποιητικό κλάδο, να παρουσιάσουμε τις τελευταίες εξελίξεις στις βιώσιμες πρακτικές, τα υλικά και τις τεχνολογίες δόμησης, να προσφέρουμε μια πλατφόρμα για την παρουσίαση των αποτελεσμάτων της Έρευνας και της Καινοτομίας, να ενημερώσουμε για τις σχετικές προτεραιότητες, τις στρατηγικές και τα κανονιστικά πλαίσια της ΕΕ και τις διεθνείς πρωτοβουλίες, να διευκολύνουμε συζητήσεις για οριζόντια ζητήματα και συνέργειες και να ευθυγραμμίσουμε τις πρακτικές του κλάδου με τις πολιτικές και τους κανονισμούς της ΕΕ και τις εθνικές πολιτικές και κανονισμούς προκειμένου να διαμορφώσουμε το μέλλον της δόμησης.

Το e-CODOMH είναι ένα Cluster εταιρειών καινοτομίας που ιδρύθηκε τον Ιανουάριο του 2022. Τα μέλη του περιλαμβάνουν δυναμικές επιχειρήσεις από τον ελληνικό κατασκευαστικό τομέα, καθώς και Συνεργαζόμενα Μέλη που περιλαμβάνουν Βιομηχανικούς Συνδέσμους, Ελληνικά Πανεπιστήμια και Ερευνητικούς & Τεχνολογικούς Οργανισμούς. Με στρατηγική εστίαση στην τεχνολογική καινοτομία και τη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη, το e-CODOMH διαδραματίζει καθοριστικό ρόλο στη διαμόρφωση του μέλλοντος της κατασκευαστικής βιομηχανίας στην Ελλάδα. Ως μέλος του European Construction and Sustainable Built Environment Technology Platform (ECTP) και του Δικτύου Built4People Innovation lusters (B4PIC) στην Ευρώπη, το e-CODOMH είναι το ελληνικό B4PIC που ενώνει τα ενδιαφερόμενα μέρη για να προωθήσει την καινοτομία στον Κατασκευαστικό Τομέα.

Efthimios Bakogiannis Dr Urban planner- Transport Engineer is an assistant professor at NTUA- SATM, Department of Geography and Regional Planning. He is one of the founding members of the ‘Sustainable Mobility Unit-SMU’ in the NTUA. http://www.smu.gr/. He is teaching various undergraduate courses, including Urban Planning, Urban Geography, Housing Networks, Methods and Applications of Urban Design and Environmental Planning as well as postgraduate courses related to Housing Settlements’ Networks. He has participated in more than 40 European and National research projects, conducted by NTUA. The main research fields of his activity comprise integrated urban and transport planning towards the sustainable city, integration of alternative means in urban areas ( bicycle network planning, evaluation and infrastructure design, urban & transport design for pedestrians and public transport), environmental planning (with emphasis on the vulnerable road users) of large scale metropolitan areas (campuses, metropolitan Parks, old airport, coastal areas, central zones), mobility management and policies for the promotion of alternative
means. The research funding comes both from national bodies such as municipalities, ministries, urban planning and transportation agencies, and the European Commission (FP4, FP5, FP6, ERDF, INTERREG). Today is the General Secretary of Spatial Planning and Urban Environment of the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy.

Kalliopi Papadaki is a graduate of the Department of Architectural Engineering of the Polytechnic School, the Department of Architectural Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with a postgraduate degree in the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program “Architecture – Spatial Planning”, in the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program of the Technical University of Athens, specializing in “Urban Planning”. She is a doctoral candidate at the National Technical University of Athens, School of Surveying Engineering – Geoinformatics in the field of Urban Planning with an emphasis on the design of large-scale urban renovations. For 20 years, she worked as a freelancer in her office. She took part in architectural competitions and collaborated with major design firms for projects in Greece and abroad. From 2009 to the present, she has been working at the Ministry of Environment and Energy as a permanent employee. From 2015 to the present, she has held the position of special associate in the special offices of the political leadership of the Ministry. Today she is Head of the Department of Renovation and Rehabilitation of Technical Works and Buildings of the Directorate of Urban Renovation Studies and Projects and works as an associate of the Secretary General of Spatial Planning and Urban Environment. She represents the Ministry of Environment and Energy in many European committees and programs and participates or coordinates many national interministerial committees, councils and working groups. She has publications and a significant number of presentations at conferences. She is a member of the EU BIM working group, National Coordinator of EMW, of the NRC for com in the EEA – EIONET. He is a member of the core teaching staff of the Training Institute of the National Center for Public Administration and Local Government, the Registry of Public Administration Executives, and the Accessibility Committee. He specializes in urban planning, sustainable urban development, and urban regeneration policy, building capacity management and the digitalization of structures.

Director of the Building Materials Laboratory of the School of Civil Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2015. She is a member of a research team in more than 100 national and European projects and a scientific coordinator in 22. She has organized conferences and training seminars for the dissemination of new technologies in building materials. She is responsible for 7 PhDs and 3 postdoctoral programs. She is a reviewer in 14 high-level IF scientific journals and an associate editor in the Journal of Building Engineering (Elsevier). She is a member of RILEM TCs and RILEM European Regional Convener in Europe. She has published 92 articles in international journals, more than 200 in conferences, and 25 chapters in special editions. Has an h-index of 30 (SCOPUS). She is among the 2% of the world’s most influential researchers according to its ranking Stanford University and Elsevier for the years 2020 and 2022,2023

Marios Tsakiris is Head of Energy Services in ZEB SA – Zero Energy Buildings, an ESCO in Athens, Greece. He focuses on energy management, building simulation and energy performance services while he is responsible for the development of new services and partnerships as well as applications of AI and digital twins.
With more than 20 years of experience in the energy and buildings sector and a cross from industry he has worked in building and renewable energy design and construction, energy audits and energy performance contracting as well as consulting on energy and sustainability planning and strategy.
He received his MSc from KTH – Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and his MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and holds several certifications among which is of CMVP.
For the year of 2025 – 2026 June, he serves the Hellenic chapter of ASHRAE in his role as Vice President.

Restauración y Rehabilitación’ (2002-2007). Solar Decathlon Europe Competition (2019 & 2021 Editions: Professor advisor, UPV team). Konstantinos Karampatakis is the Founding Partner and Creative Director of K-Studio, a Greek architecture and design firm. He studied at The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, where he completed a BSc in Architecture (2000–2003) and a Diploma in Architecture (2004–2006). Early in his career, he worked as an Architectural Intern at Alsop Architects in London (2003–2004).
Upon returning to Athens and in partnership with his brother Dimitris, K-Studio was formed and began to build a reputation for a totally context based approach to design.
K-Studio is now an award-winning practice with projects across the globe, an international staff of architects, designers and administrators and a halo of collaborators and consultants.

Technical Chamber of Greece (TCG), Member of the Administrative Council of the Hellenic Industrial Property Organisation and hence of the Hellenic Industrial Property Academy. General Director the Greek Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES, 2020-2023). Currently, Advisor to the President of TCG. At the research level, he develops and implements models of strategic planning and foresight based on future scenarios.

Graduate of the Department of Civil Engineering, Piraeus University of Applied Sciences (TEI of Piraeus). She completed a two-year MSc in “Seismic and Energy Upgrading of Structures and Sustainable Development” at the University of West Attica.
Employed at the HERACLES Group since 2001, she has held positions at the Hellenic Cement Research Center (Head of the Department of Physical and Mechanical Testing of Concrete and Aggregates) and at Lafarge Beton S.A.
In the interim, she worked as a Technical Support Engineer at ISOMAT S.A., a company producing construction chemicals and mortars.
In June 2017, she became Head of the Hellenic Concrete Technology Center, serving as Technical Manager and Quality Manager. In January 2024, she was appointed Head of the HERACLES Research and Technology Center (EKET), an accredited laboratory in accordance with EN ISO 17025.
Her expertise lies in advanced concrete technology and concrete durability.

Annarita Ferreri

Annarita has worked in the EU Commission for 11 years. She is the Head of Sector for Energy Efficiency, Smart Cities and new European Bauhaus, in CINEA, the EU Commission agency for energy and climate. Her team covers a portfolio of EU financed projects in these areas. Some of the projects are funded under the Built4People partnership.
Prior to joining the Commission, Annarita worked for over 10 years for Shell Plc, where she had technical and financial roles in developments of natural gas and LNG infrastructure projects. In her last role in Shell, she was responsible to invest in start-ups and SMEs developing solutions for the integration of gas and cleantech in residential and commercial buildings, as well as in the urban environment.
Annarita holds a Master in Theoretical Chemistry, from the University of East Anglia, and a joint PhD in Materials Engineering and Physics from Imperial College London.
